1.In addition to the gallery spaces, what are the amenities TAG provides?
- Office Space (220 sq. ft), with 3 desk spaces
- High Speed Wifi – 300/20 mbps download/upload
- ADT security with motion sensors and 8 HD CC TV camera equipped space
- Dedicated Loading and Unloading Zone (9 am to 5 pm)
- Service Elevator (9 am to 5 pm)
- Kitchen & bathroom
- Available for an additional fee: In-house rental of gallery supplies, packing material and audio-visual equipment including projector, drill and screws, laser leveler/water level, safety goggles, measuring tape, 6ft ladder, step stool, safety gloves, box cutters, 3 ft steel ruler
2.What are the services TAG provides?
With the goal of getting our clients up and running in the shortest time, we provide the following services to our clients:
- On-site gallery liaison
- Receptionist (10 am – 6 pm)
- Access to a list of vendors, including those for installation/deinstallation, catering, shippers and movers
- Daily cleaning of galleries and common areas
- Sharing of event with TAG’s mailing list

3.What is the cost to rent the gallery?
Gallery rental is based on the client's specific requirements. Please call (+1 (917) 476-0725), WhatsApp (+1 (917) 574-0187) or email us (info@alkazi.gallery/beta) with details so we are able to provide an accurate quote.
4.Does TAG help with Customs clearance?
TAG does not provide Customs clearance services - the client's logistics company or shipping agency usually takes care of this.
5.How many people can the space accommodate?
The space can accommodate up to 110 people.
6.Does the entire space need to be rented or can an individual gallery be rented?
Either the entire space or an individual gallery can be rented on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Please call (+1 (917) 476-0725), WhatsApp (+1 (917) 574-0187) or email us (info@alkazi.gallery/beta) with details of your requirements.
7.What are the timings the building will allow for the art handlers to hang the works?
Art works can be hung in the building between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm. For hanging that needs to occur outside of these times, please provide details.
8.What are the daily timings for the gallery?
The gallery is open from 10 am to 6 pm on all days that the space is rented (including weekends). The gallery will remain open until 8 pm on the days that there is an evening event.
9.Can a client use their own caterers?
Yes, but all vendors must provide proof of insurance. We can provide suggestions of caterers.
10.How large is the pantry? Can food be cooked in the pantry?
The pantry is approx. 12 x 7 ft. No cooking is permitted in the pantry, however, a microwave is available for heating prepared food.
11.Are there glasses and crockery in the gallery?
We have crockery for gallery staff and clients, but for events these items need to be rented from a vendor. We can provide suggestions of vendors.
12.Are chairs and tables available for events?
Chairs and tables need to be rented – we can provide suggestions of vendors.
Typical rates are as follows: $4/chair/day, arranging chairs in the gallery is $1/chair and $200 for transport to and from the gallery.
Tables rental, inclusive of tablecloths varies between $12-15 per table
13.How large is the service elevator? What is the largest size painting that will fit inside the building entrance and the elevator?
The size of the service elevator is 4 ft x 4 ft x 8 ft (height). If the item is bigger, please call to discuss specifications.
14.What is the cleaning schedule for the gallery?
A clean gallery will be provided. Daily cleaning of toilets and kitchen is also included in the rental. The final cleaning service at the end of the occupancy period is chargeable at $350.
15.Who performs the touch up/paint job after the exhibition is taken down?
The touch-up and paint patch-up is to be done by the client. TAG can suggest vendors who have worked at the gallery, or can get it done and bill you a fixed amount.
16.What are the insurance requirements?
All vendors must have insurance, which is submitted to the gallery. Clients need to provide liability insurance for all their people and visitors.
17.Is there paid parking near to the building?
Yes, generally rates vary from $8 to $16 per hour, depending on the time of day.
18.Are there grocery stores, restaurants and hotels near the gallery?
Yes – Wholefoods, Trader Joe's and Fairwary are the nearby grocery stores; Indian, Turkish, Chinese restaurants, as well as Chipotle, Starbucks and Panera are within a block or two of the gallery. Holiday Inn, Courtyard and Four Points are close by. We can provide additional recommendations for economical accommodation.
